Quintra

Terms of Service

Effective October 4, 2026. Applies to the Quintra iOS app and to quintra.app.

The short version. Quintra is free to play, supported by full-screen ads after a finished puzzle, game, or match, or after you send a move in an online match, with a one-time purchase that removes ads. Play fair, don't cheat the leaderboards, and be decent to the people you play against. We can change the game at any time, and things will occasionally break.

Who we are

Quintra is made by The Flaggship Group LLC ("we"). These terms are an agreement between you and us. Because Quintra is distributed through Apple's App Store and TestFlight, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and where the two differ, Apple's terms govern the relationship with Apple.

Beta builds

Quintra is available on the App Store. Builds distributed through TestFlight are pre-release software: rules, scoring, cosmetics, and progression may change between builds, and a change may reset or adjust records, leaderboards, or in-progress matches. TestFlight builds expire on Apple's schedule. We may end a beta, or your access to it, at any time.

Your license

We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to install and play Quintra on Apple devices you own or control, for your own enjoyment. The game, its rules, artwork, sounds, name, and code are ours or our licensors', and you may not copy, modify, decompile, resell, or redistribute them except where the law says we cannot stop you.

Fair play

Online play, leaderboards, and achievements run on Apple's Game Center, and Apple's Game Center terms apply to them. On top of those, you agree not to:

We may end matches, remove scores, or block Game Center players from playing against others in Quintra when we believe these terms have been broken.

Your Game Center profile

Playing online shares your Game Center display name and avatar with your opponent. You control that profile in iOS Settings. See our Privacy Policy for everything the app does and does not collect.

Cost, ads, and Remove Ads

Every mode in Quintra is free to play. The game shows a full-screen ad after a completed activity (a solved daily puzzle or a finished game or match) and, in online matches, may show one after you send a move, never while it is your turn. Ads are served by Google AdMob; what that involves is in our Privacy Policy.

Remove Ads is an optional one-time In-App Purchase that turns ads off permanently on every device signed in to the Apple Account that bought it. Its price is shown in the app before you buy. The purchase is made through Apple, Apple's terms and refund process apply, and you can restore it on a new device with Restore Purchases in Settings. There are no subscriptions. Removing ads changes nothing else about the game.

No warranty

Quintra is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise that the game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that saved games, records, or matches will never be lost, especially during the beta.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Quintra, and our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the game in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the game grows. The effective date at the top will change, and material changes will be noted in the app's release notes. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
